Lexmark is an industry leader in the use of reclaimed plastic with 37% of the plastic content, by weight, in Lexmark branded toner cartridges coming from post-consumer plastic from our Lexmark Cartridge Collection Programme. Our goal is to increase the use of reclaimed plastic through the PCR and product reuse processes to 50% by 2025.
Lexmark branded, in-house laser printer and multifunction product hardware models sold in 2020 contain an average of 39% PCR plastic by weight of plastic, with 100% of these models containing some PCR plastic content. As part of our commitment to sustainability, Lexmark offers a responsible choice for disposal of end-of-life printers. Through LECP, you can return any end-of-life Lexmark branded product and Lexmark will recycle the equipment for free. To learn how to recycle your printer, click here.
You may use your new printer's packaging material to return your old Lexmark printer. Otherwise, please consider locally recycling the packaging material if facilities exist in your area. If not, you may return the packaging material from your new Lexmark printer or other Lexmark hardware, including service parts, to Lexmark by whatever shipping method is most convenient to you. The Triman logo is a mandatory, unified signage for end-of-life products created from the French Decree No.2014-15733 to harmonize the separate collection systems within France. This symbol provides a more readily understandable symbol for citizens and consumers in France to ensure recyclable products are separated at end of life.
